Thanks to Mariko, I am always making cupcakes these days. Ever since she recommended the Cake Doctor's cupcake book, I find a reason to make a batch at least once a month. These are Brooklyn Blackout Cupcake (sans chocolate filling) with Buttercream Frosting. Festive, no?And speaking of festive:

Ahh! I signed up to be a beta tester on Ravelry earlier today... no word from them yet, but, it seems so cool! I hope they let me in soon.

just caught up on your posts...i love all the sewing and envy your skill. i also love seeing your boys, i ope mine match yours in cuteness when they reach two...i could just squeeze and kiss them...oh, wait, i'll do that to my own. smiles.
